Its a great condiment for the fried chicken. The time is not based from start to finish, it mainly just the sauce.
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Season the chicken with salt and pepper then flour it. I find that it sticks to the chicken better and the flour does not burn as easy. While the flower sets get a cast iron pan and put enough lard for frying it will depend on how big your pan is. You do not want it swimming in the lard but at least half the chicken should be covered.
- 2
Place chicken in with the bone facing the bottom. Because the meat closest to the bone takes the longest to cook, cook at least 9 minutes on that first side. Flip skin side down and finish cooking until skin is crispy and fully cooked through. Total time is approximately 15 minutes.
- 3
Melt stick of butter in shallow pot on medium. Right before it turns brown add your chili flakes, pecans, and honey. Mix to ensure honey and butter are combined.
- 4
When your chicken is done frying dry it on brown paper bags when ready for serving drizzle salted pecans honey mixture on chicken and enjoy.

Salty Fried Chicken Salty Fried Chicken
Near my parents' house, there's a delicious salted fried chicken restaurant, and sometimes I get a craving for the chicken, but since it's too far away, I came up with my own recipe. This recipe is light tasting. (It's a recipe for those who want to chow down only on meat.)If serving with rice, add more salt. You may think that it needs more salt when brining, but be careful not to add too much salt! If you add too much, it will be too salty to eat! Recipe by Ah*mi cookpad.japan -

My husband loves fried chicken! My mother-in-law taught me this recipe.I have never been good at making deep fried dishes, and used to have trouble cooking the meat through, but it's easy if you pierce it with a fork before you start! It tastes saltier if you sprinkle on the salt and pepper separately, rather than together. One of the Chinese Restaurants’ menus that my daughter and I always ordered back in my home country 😍. It’s crunchy, buttery salty, and spicy. Just the perfect combination. You can use fish or oyster mushrooms to replace the chicken or even shrimps. Fried chicken Fried chicken
We were out back trimming the avocado trees. Hauling limbs, and cutting wood. That’s hot hard work but a labor of love. Everyone was getting hungry and thirsty so I had all the ingredients for an early supper. Brined chicken wings ready for frying. This is how I do all of my fried chicken. It pulls the blood out. Call me weird, but, I do NOT like bloody chicken. Soaking it in the salt water is the ticket to tasty, juicy, seasoned chicken all the way to the bone. And who doesn’t like really good fried chicken?
