Fruit Cake (the Easy Way!) Sugar Free

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Put fruit and tea (tea & brandy) in a bowl and let stand overnight
- 2
Preheat oven to 125ºC gas 1½
- 3
Line a greased loaf tin with baking parchment (I use a strip that I leave long on both ends to lift the cake out)
- 4
Add the flour to the fruit mixture and stir in well (some fruit absorbs all the liquid and you may need a couple tablespoons of water to help mix, but it should not be a runny mixture)
- 5
Bake for 2¼ hours in the centre of the oven. Allow to cool in the tin before removing
- 6
If making Christmas cake you may want to double the quantities and bake for 2½ hours in an 8" square or round tin. When cold, wrap in foil and feed with brandy every week for 4 weeks before covering with marzipan and royal icing

Fruit Cake Fruit Cake
This is the Indonesian version of Fruit & Nut cake (no nuts in my photo though). It's using a mix of sugar and dark and sticky palm sugar. You need to shave or shred the palm sugar to make it easier to beat. Daisy -
Easy Fruit Cake (for grownups, too) Easy Fruit Cake (for grownups, too)
Ever since I was a kid, I've often made pound cake. As I got older, recipes full of butter and flour make it easy to get fat! I'm worried about that. So, I reduced the butter and flour and came up with this moist and delicious cake. It'll fully satisfy you. There's not a lot of butter, flour, or sugar, but it's delicious as-is. It's like a cake from a high-end cake shop! It's delicious the same day or the next. However, if you over-bake it, it will dry out, so be careful! Recipe by Asamato cookpad.japan -

Light Fruit Cake Light Fruit Cake
This cake is especially relevant for those who do not like to eat dense fruit cake but want some simple and fast Christmassy bakes . Apart from their lighter color, light fruitcakes tend to be less rich and not quite as sweet as their dark counterparts.Recipe adapted from Joyofbaking.#cake#mycookbook Lavender -
