2 lbyams
1 stickbutter
1 cupbrown sugar, packed

Peel and slice yams.

Spray a large glass cake dish. Arrange slices in rows.

Melt butter and sugar in microwave. Stir and drizzle over the yams.

Bake at 450° for 30 minutes. Reduce oven to 350° and bake for 1 to 1 1/2 hors more. Baste every 30 minutes.
