Ingredients

  • Dry ingredients
  • 6 1/2 cupall-purpose flour
  • 2 cupdry milk powder
  • 1 tbspsalt
  • 1/4 cupbasil leaves fresh
  • 2 tbsprosemary leaves fresh
  • 2 tbsporegano leaves fresh
  • 2 tbspsemolina flour
  • 2 tbspwheat protein
  • Yeast proof
  • 4 tbspactive dry yeast
  • 2 tbspgranulated sugar
  • 2 1/2 cupwarm water
  • 1/2 cupvegetable oil

Steps

2 hours 30 mins
  1. 1

    Dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water to proof the yeast colonies.

  2. 2

    In mixing bowl combine dry ingredients

  3. 3

    Blend in oil until light and crumbly.

  4. 4

    Knead in yeast proof until smooth or about 8 minutes.

  5. 5

    Let rise 1 hour

  6. 6

    Punch down and roll out into 2 12x8 inch long rectangles. Roll up firmly like a log from the short end and place seam side down in loaf pan

  7. 7

    Bake 375°f for 35 minutes.
