Cooking Instructions
- 1
Cook rice, keep separate.
- 2
Put olive oil in pan, dice chicken, cook until browned
- 3
Add cream of chicken to the pan of chicken and spices to your taste.
- 4
Simmer all together and gather ingredients. Put rice as base and top with salsa, cheese, green onion, and anything you can think of that you like. This sounds gross, but everything works out and tastes great!
- 5
Note: if you let the sauce sit, it will thicken. Mine in the picture looks watery because I instantly put it on my plate. I was hungry!

Hawaiian Beans Hawaiian Beans
The only problem is this recipe probably was once Hawaiian Beans with bacon or spam and pineapple, but I had it first when the cook cut out the pineapple and I adapted it to my vegetarian taste and left out the meat. Either way, it is still delicious and loved by vegetarians and meat eaters a like. My boyfriend's favorite. And our little dog loves it too. 😆 2 Cancerians cook, Libra eats -
Ahi Tuna Katsu: Easy Hawaiian Dish Ahi Tuna Katsu: Easy Hawaiian Dish
This is a recipe from the series, "Oh my god, I have the urge to eat that dish from that restaurant". It is a copycat of "Kaimuki"'s series. I think the original uses a Wasabi Ginger Sauce. My husband loves it when I serve this dish like a "Hawaiian Lunch Plate". That's because he is a big fan of macaroni salad and rice!Tip: Use tuna straight from the fridge. Tip: Don't fry the tuna for too long. Recipe by Aroharokomoko cookpad.japan -

Hawaiian Style Garlic Shrimp Hawaiian Style Garlic Shrimp
We eat this without fail on our yearly trips to Hawaii. The ones over there have a lot of garlic and are very oily, so I went easy on both. I bought various marinades and tried them out, but I think this version which can be made with easy to obtain ingredients is the closest to the original.Just marinate! Anyone can make this easily. You can use cheap shrimp like the black tiger variety.Adjust the amount of garlic and black pepper to taste. For 2 servings. Recipe by Okirakushufu cookpad.japan -
Macaroni salad (Hawaiian) Macaroni salad (Hawaiian)
This recipe came from a few different places and we just mashed them together and got a really great recipe. The macaroni is overcooked for this recipe so it's very soft but it's needed so that when you add the vinegar and other ingredients they get soaked up by the macaroni. Very good alternative to potato salad. Spice Mix -
Hawaiian Malasada Hawaiian Malasada
My husband and I tried to recreate the malasada that was featured in a tv show that was about Hawaii. We were very curious about it and wanted to know how different it is from a deep fried bread and Sata Andagi from Okinawa! We used Katakuriko instead of corn starch which was used in a cookbook since we didn't have any on hand. They are very fluffy and delicious!!This is an easy dough since you don't need to let it rest. It's easy to roll the dough as it's not that tough. They don't make any sizzling sounds when you deep fry them . Maybe because they don't contain moisture that much...but you can still get a nice golden color.Put each malasada in a plastic bag with granulated sugar and shake it around to easily coat them with sugar. Hawaiian Pancake with Macadamia Nut Sauce Hawaiian Pancake with Macadamia Nut Sauce
I've been hooked on pancakes these days, but this recipe is my masterpiece. They're the ideal pancakes coated with a white sauce. The crunchy texture of the macadamia nuts can really be noticed when combined with the soft pancakes and sauce. That's why it works best if you crush them finely. You could use sugar if you don't have condensed milk. The condensed milk will help make the sauce richer, however. [Farmhouse Recipe] Hawaiian Loco Moco [Farmhouse Recipe] Hawaiian Loco Moco
Regular Loco Moco burgers break apart easily, so I added lots of onions to the patties to hold their shape. The amount of onion is half the amount of the meat, so it's a hearty dish. The gravy is thickened with katakuriko. Recipe by FarmersK cookpad.japan
