Beetroot is sauce of iron . This is a healthy option of making the vegetable in minimum oil . Serve with rice and dal or roti and dal . Best for kids .

Steps

Peel the beetroot and cut them in to small pieces

Take a wok, add in oil/ghee put in the urad dal and curry leaves for seasoning and the green chilli slit in between (optional).

Put in the beetroot.mix all well. Sprinkle lil water and cover.

After 10 or 15 minutes check if the beetroot has softened. Add in the aamchur powder and mix well for 2 min and cover. The vegetable is done. Garnish with coriander leaves.
