Heat up the oil in a large pan, then add the onions and fry for 1 minute

After 1 min, add the garlic, ginger and cut up chili. Add the lamb now if its raw - cut into small pieces and fry for 1 minute.

Turn heat down and simmer for a few moments until the onions have gone brown in colour.

Add the garam masala powder and fry for 30 secounds, then add the tomatoes

Add the whole can of coconut Milk and stir in. If using cooked lamb, then add now and stir

Add the chopped up apple and apple sauce. Stir in.

Add the potatoes and the pint of water, stir all in

Simmer for up 1 hour and keep stirring throughout. Then just before serving, add the yogurt, and mix well.

Serve on a bed of basmati rice.
