Ingredients

1 cup
  • 2 tablespoonshigh-quality dark cocoa powder
  • (Bendsdrop, Van Houten, Java, Windmolen)
  • 2 tablespoonssugar, or to taste
  • 1 pinchsalt
  • 1 cup(about 250 ml) milk
  • 1/2 teaspoonvanilla extract or vanilla powder

Steps

  1. 1

    Mix the cocoa powder with a little milk. Stir until smooth.

  2. 2

    Combine all ingredients and heat over medium heat until boiling. Don't just pour hot water over it.

    Serve warm.
