This recipe can make quite a few varieties of flapjack
Cooking Instructions

Place about 100g of the granola and 100g of the oats in a food processor and pulse until roughly ground, but be careful not to overmix making sure the oats keep their texture, not into fine powder.

In a pan add your, butter, sugar and golden syrup and mix on low to med heat.

Add your raisins and stir.

Add 3tbsp water and mix well,

Add your ungrounded oats and granola and stir well.

Add the grounded oats and granola, and mix well. You should get moist gooey mixture like a coarse dough.

Lightly grease a baking tin with butter and spoon in all the mixture.

Using the back of a spoon press into the corners so the mixture is fla.

Place in the oven and bake on 180 until golden brown (about 20 minutes).

Chill the fridge for about 30mins then portion

I am admittedly not much of a baker. I'm a roughly 60/40 fruit/topping type gal, which works out to about a 2-inch layer of fruit to a roughly 2/3-inch layer of topping (the fruit will reduce and thicken a bit).If you're in a real hurry, you can buy a can of pie filling, and mix it with half fresh or frozen berries. A little pinch of salt mixed in helps to round out the flavors and soften the saccharin sweetness of canned pie filling.The streusel topping can be made and refrigerated up to a week in advance. x -
