Ingredients

  1. 15Boiled baby potatoes -
  2. 1 cupBeaten curd/ feta hua dahi -
  3. 1 1/2 cupWater -
  4. 1 tablespoonOil/ tel -
  5. 1/2 teaspoonCumin seeds/ jeera -
  6. 1/2 teaspoonTurmeric/ haldi powder -
  7. 1/2 teaspoonRed chilli/ lal mirch powder -
  8. 1 tablespooncoriander powder/ dhaniya powder -
  9. 1/4 teaspoonGaram masala -
  10. to tasteSalt/ namak
  11. 1 pinchAsafoetida/ hing -

Steps

  1. 1

    Boil water in a pan and add potatoes.

  2. 2

    Add beaten curd and stir continuously, otherwise curd will be curdled.

  3. 3

    When curd starts boiling, add turmeric powder, coriander powder and salt. Cook for 7-8 minutes. Add garam masala and switch off flame.

  4. 4

    Tadka - Heat oil, add jeera. When jeera crackles, add hing and red chilli powder.

  5. 5

    Pour tadka in the curry.

  6. 6

    Baby Potato Curd Curry' is ready to be served with hot phulkas/ rice.
