Race Car Theme Cake
A birthday party idea for kids
Steps
- 1
Beat the eggs well with the vanilla until the mixture is creamy and light. Gradually add the sugar while continuing to beat, then add the soda, oil, and vinegar, and mix well.
- 2
In another bowl, mix all the dry ingredients together and gradually add them to the wet mixture until a dough forms. Pour the batter into a greased baking pan lined with parchment paper.
- 3
Bake in the oven at 350°F (180°C) for 40 to 45 minutes. Remove from the oven and let it cool completely for at least 5 to 6 hours to ensure it is firm and doesn't crumble.
- 4
Cut the cake horizontally into 3 layers. Moisten each layer with syrup or diluted honey, fill with mousse, and add nuts. Place the second layer on top and repeat the process, then add the third layer.
- 5
Cover the outside of the cake with cream and refrigerate for an hour to set the cream. Then, decorate as shown in the picture to create the race track theme.
- 6
Color the coconut flakes with green gel food coloring and a drop of water to create green grass. Decorate with fondant shapes and toy race cars.
- 7
Serve and enjoy!
