Moist lemon-vanilla cake

Pre heat the oven to 180 0c.

Lightly grease your baking pan with butter

Mix the dry ingredients in a bowl and set aside

In another bowl, add the beaten eggs and sugar. Whisk thoroughly for 1 minute or until well combined

Add the milk, vanilla extract, oil, lemon juice and lemon zest to the wet ingredients and mix thoroughly.

Now add the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients. Add in 3 batches until well combined

Pour your batter into your greased pan and transfer to the oven

The secret to the moistness of this cake is the brown sugar and whole cream milk. This gives you a slightly runny batter which bakes to give you a moist delicious cake.

Bake for 50-55 mins
