Cooking Instructions
- 1
Use frozen scallops (thaw them) or refrigerated ones, with their shells. In a blender, combine a couple of garlic cloves, parsley leaves, good quality extra virgin olive oil, and a bit of lemon juice. Blend for a few seconds, not too much so you can still see some parsley, and it doesn't emulsify too much. Let it rest for a few minutes to return to its natural state.
- 2
Place the scallops on a baking tray with their shells and season with a little salt and pepper. Drizzle with a teaspoon of garlic and parsley oil.
- 3
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and turn it off when the oil starts to move. Leave them in the oven for 2 minutes with the door closed.
- 4
Remove from the oven and serve, drizzling with a little more garlic and parsley oil.
- 5
Honestly, they are delicious and quick to make without making much mess.

Follow me in Youtube: Albee Charis PonioEversince quarantined started, it seems that seafood suppliers have been selling online. Its been easy for us to buy seafoods directly from the suppliers. Amazingly, these scallops cost 80php/kg thats 1.5$/kg! How cheap is that?! And its free delivery door to door. I couldn't resist and ordered then cooked our favorite scallop recipe.Cheesy baked scallops is one of the pinoys favorite appetizers. I kinda tweaked my recipe from the usual baked scallops sold by the local restaurants here. They usually add garlic butter and cheese only. But mine, i added béchamel sauce to make it extra creamy and saucy! At first when I saw the 2kgs scallops i was like, would we even finish eating all of these?! Guess what, its not even enough! Haha my son even ate the cheesy sauce too! 😁 Albee Charis Ponio -

I combined some scallion sashimi that I bought cheaply with homemade pizza sauce. This is for my husband, who doesn't really like scallop sashimi.Cook the scallions on high heat enough to brown the outsides. But be careful not to overcook them. If you're not worried about the calories, they're also delicious in a butter saute. Recipe by Tsuiterusatochan cookpad.japan -
