preheat oven to 325°F

grease 13 x 9 baking pan

cut up butter in small pieces & mix with brown sugar, flour, & nuts

Set aside

Mix together cake mixes, pumpkin spice, & baking soda.

Add canned pumpkin, water, & eggs. Beat together.

Pour half of batter in greased baking dish.

Sprinkle half of topping on batter.

Pour remaining batter over topping & spread making sure to spread completely over topping.

Sprinkle on remaining topping & bake for 1 hour.

Cake is done when toothpick comes out clean.

Cool before cutting.
