Ingredients

7 servings
  • 1 lbchicken breast
  • 1 mediumonion
  • 1teaspon garlic powder
  • 1 tbspcanola oil
  • 2 cangreat nothern beans
  • 1 canchicken broth
  • 2 cangreen chilies
  • 1 tspsalt
  • 1 tsporegano
  • 1/2teasppon pepper
  • 1/4 tspcayenne pepper
  • 1 cupsour cream
  • 1/2 cupwhipped cream

Steps

  1. 1

    In a large saucepan, saute the chicken, onion and garlic powder in oil until chicken is no longer pink. Add the beans, broth, chilies and seasonings. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes

  2. 2

    Remove from the heat; stir in sour cream and cream
