Ingredients

  1. 1 1/4 cupall-purpose flour
  2. 1 1/4 tspsalt
  3. 1/2 cupunsalted butter (chilled)
  4. 1/4 cupice water

Cooking Instructions

    Dice the butter into cubes.

  2. 2

    Mix flour and salt in a large bowl.

  3. 3

    Mix in butter until the consistency of the mixture changes to one of course crumbs.

  4. 4

    Mix in water, a little at a time, until the dough forms a ball.

  5. 5

    Wrap the dough in plastic and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.

  6. 6

    Roll the dough flat so that it will fit a 9 inch pie crust.

  7. 7

    Press the dough into a 9 inch pie pan.
