Soak raw rice,methi seed and daal separately for 6hrs.

Grind rice along with steamed rice by adding little water to a fine paste.

Grind daal to a fine paste.

Now in a big bowl mix all together and keep to ferment for 6-7hrs.

Now take IDLI mould and grease it.Whisk IDLI batter nicely with hand and put a laddle full in moulds.

Heat cooker with water in it.Place IDLI mould in it and cover with lid.

Let it steam 13-15mins.No need to put whistle.

After 15mins take out from cooker and keep 5mins.Take out idlus and serve with chutni.

For green chutney: Grind coconut, chillies, sugar,salt,jeera,some water all together to a paste.
