Ingredients

  1. 12 ozRigatoni pasta
  2. 1 lbItalian sausage
  3. 1 lbGround beef
  4. 28 ozCrushed tomatoes
  5. 2 canTomato sauce
  6. 1 1/2 tbspTomato paste
  7. 1 tbspGarlic powder
  8. 2 tbspItalian seasoning
  9. 1 tspSugar
  10. 1 1/2 cupMozzarella cheese
  11. 1/2Parmesan cheese
  12. 1 pinchSalt
  13. 1 pinchPepper

Steps

  1. 1

    Preheat oven to 325°F

  2. 2

    Ground beef and sausage until cooked through

  3. 3

    Add tomatoes, tomato sauce and tomato paste

  4. 4

    Stir in garlic and Italian seasoning, sugar, salt, and pepper. Let summer 3-5 minutes to combine flavors

  5. 5

    Add pasta to the sauce and pour half of mixture into greased 9x13 pan.

  6. 6

    Top with half of cheese, add the other half of pasta mixture and too with cheese

  7. 7

    Bake covered at 325°F for 20-25 minutes. Uncover and bake another 15-20 minutes until bubbly
