Ingredients

  1. 3 cupwater
  2. 1/2 cuppineapple chunks
  3. 1 cuptomatoes chopped
  4. 1/4 cuptoor dal cooked
  5. 1/4 cuppineapple puree
  6. 1/2 bunchcorriander
  7. 1/4curry leaf
  8. 1/4 tspturmeric
  9. 1/2 tsprasam powder
  10. 2green chillies
  11. 1 tbspcanola oil
  12. 1/2 tspmusturd seeds
  13. 1/2 tspcumin seeds
  14. 1 eachgarlic pod crushed

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat a vessel, add 3cups of water, mashed dal,chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder, green chillies, few curry leaves, rasam powder and bring to a boil. Boil for 10 minutes.

    Add pineapple puree and pineapple chunks.boil for 2 min.

    Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds , crushed garlic, curry leaves anf fry for few seconds.

  4. 4

    Add this mixture to the boiled rasam and combine. Turn off the heat and place lid. Garnish with corriander leaves.
