Pour the sweetened condensed milk in a medium-sized bowl. add the coconut flakes ( about 1 & 1/2 cup) saving the rest for the last step.

Mix well and refrigerate for at least 15-20 minutes. Take from the fridge and start by making small balls with the palms of your hands. insert one almond in each ball and roll again. Then roll them carefully in the coconut flakes. put them back in the fridge and serve cold.

It's a really easy recipe , If you want you can use sweetened coconut flakes but I prefer the unsweetened ones cause the texture is a lot dryer than the sweetened kind. A friend of mine gave this recipe a few years ago. I always have to adjust the coconut flakes cause some condensed milk is thicker than some others. Enjoy!
