Nothing says southern like some light, flaky, tasty, cat-head biscuits!! Here is my take on a southern favorite!
Steps

Preheat oven to 450
- 2
Combine dry ingredients in mixing bowl and whisk
- 3
Cut in butter until looks like coarse sand with pea sized particles
- 4
Form well in center
- 5
Pour Milk into well
- 6
Lightly fold flour mixture into milk until incorporated and dough cleans the sides of the bowl
- 7
Turn dough out onto floured surface and roll or press it into a 1 inch thick disc
- 8
Cut with floured biscuit cutter and place on ungreased pan with sides touching
- 9
Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through
