Steps

Marinate the fish with salt & turmeric powder & sallow fry the fish, keep the oil aside.

Heat the oil which was used for fring fish in a kadhai & temper with black cumin seeds & bay leaves.

Add onion & saute till brown.Add gingar & garlic paste & all the dry masala powder.

Cook the masala till oil releases.

Add tomato paste again bunao till the masala leaves oil and again cook till fat comes out.

Add the slited green chilli, sugar & cook it for a few minutes.

Add little water adjust seasoning & boil for 2 minutes.

Then add the fried fish & serve hot with plain rice.
