Ingredients

  1. 2 cupFlour Or sourdough starter
  2. 1Egg
  3. 1/2 cupMilk
  4. 2/3 cupSugar
  5. 1 tbspOil
  6. 2 tspBaking powder
  7. 1/3 tspSalt

Cooking Instructions

    Combine all ingredients and mix well. If using sourdough starter, allow it to rest and rise until doubled, approx 2 hours.

    Heat oil in saucepan. Drop batter by small spoonfuls into oil. remove once golden brown. Roll in powdered sugar or glaze. To glaze mix powdered sugar and orange juice. drop. Doughnuts into glaze while still warm.
