  • 6 cupShredded cabbage (about 1/2 a head)
  • 1 cupShredded carrot (about 1 medium)
  • 1 cupChopped green bell pepper
  • 1/2 cupChopped red onion
  • 1 cupSugar
  • 1 cupWhite wine vinegar
  • 2 tbspOlive oil
  • 1 tspDry mustard
  • 1 tbspCelery seeds
  • 1/2 tspSalt

    Combine first 4 ingredients in a large bowl and toss well.

  2. 2

    Combine sugar and remaining ingredients in a small bowl, stirring with a whisk.

  3. 3

    Pour vinegar mixture over cabbage, tossing gently to combine. Cover; chill one hour.
