Ingredients

6Eggs
1 cupOil
2 cupCake meal
2 tspPotato starch
salt to taste
8 largesliced apples
3/4 cupSugar minus 2 tspn. For apples
2 tspCinnamon
2 cupSugar

Use a 9 x 12 pan. Grease pan. Mix eggs and sugar together. Add oil and dry ingredients minus cinnamon. Fill pan with half the batter mix apples, cinnamon on and lemon juice and 2 tspn. sugar. Spread over half of batter, then top with rest of batter. Can mix 2 tspn. Strawberry preserves with apples, if wished.
Bake 1 hr 15 minutes at 350. Cool cake and leave our, or it will get mushy.
