Ingredients

2 servings
  • 1/2 cupSoaked Rice
  • 1/2 cupGrind Boiled Spinach
  • 1/2 cupMixture of Soaked Lentils I've taken Split green gram (moong dal)and pink lentils (Masoor dal)
  • 1 tbspChopped Ginger & Garlic
  • 1 tbspSalt
  • 1 tspTurmeric Powder
  • 1 tbspGreen Chilli
  • 1 PieceChopped Tomatoes
  • 1 tbspClarified Butter (Ghee)
  • 1 tbspCumin Seeds
  • 1 tspDegi Mirch / Red Chilli Powder
  • 2 tbspChopped Onion

Steps

  1. 1

    In a pressure cooker add cumin seeds and let them temper then add 1 tbsp of clarified butter. Add chopped ginger, garlic and green chilli into it.

    In the cooker add chopped onion and tomatoes

  3. 3

    Add soaked rice and lentils into it.

  4. 4

    Add salt, turmeric powder and red chilli powder.

  5. 5

    Sir fry them for sometime.

  6. 6

    Add boiled and grind spinach into it.

  7. 7

    Mix them well and add 1 cup of water and pressure cook them for 10 minutes or with 3 whistle.

  8. 8

    Serve it with chokha, chutney, curd and papad.
