Ingredients

  • 5-6chicken fillet cubes(clean and washed)
  • 1carrot chopped
  • 1onion roughly chopped
  • to tasteSalt
  • 3 tspblack pepper powder
  • 4-5brown bread slices
  • 1egg beaten
  • 1 cupbresh Basil leaves
  • 2-3 tbspolive oil
  • 1/2 cupwalnuts
  • 5-6garlic clove chopped
  • 7-8mint leaves
  • 2green chillies
  • 1Juice of lemon

Steps

  1. 1

    In a food processor add the chicken cubes,onion,salt,black pepper powder,brown bread pieces,egg white,basil(Tulsi) leaves,olive oil,walnuts,garlic cloves,mint leaves,green chillies & lemon juice.blend to paste.

    Transfer in a mixing bowl. Add chopped carrots & make firm dough.

    Soak wooden sticks in water for 5-7 mints. Remove the sticks from water
    Preheat oven to 180 degrees & grease a baking tray.

  4. 4

    Apply little beat of oil in ur palms and divide the mixture in to equal lemon size balls. Spread each portion on the skewer like seekh kabab.

  5. 5

    Place in the greased baking tray.brush lil beat of oil on top. Bake for 10-12 mints or until golden brown.

    Garnish with spring onions

    Serve hot with Carribbean Orange-Pineapple salad (recipe updated in next part)
