Steps

In a medium pot add lentils and stock/water. Bring to a boil.

Reduce heat to simmer and cook on low heat, stirring frequently until lentils are soft.

In a medium saucepan saute onions and garlic in olive oil, until onions are tender.
- 4
Add the onions and garlic to the cooked lentils and stir in ginger and salt. Add pepper to taste.
