Ingredients

  1. 350 Gm.Boneless Chicken (diced)
  2. 1Egg (slightly beaten)
  3. 1/2 CupCornflour
  4. 1/2 tspGarlic Paste
  5. 1/2 tspGinger Paste
  6. 1 TbspSalt
  7. oil for fry
  8. 2 CupsOnions sliced
  9. 2 tspGreen Chilli sliced
  10. 1 TbspSoya sauce (adjust according to strength)
  11. 2 TbspVinegar
  12. 2-3capsicum sliced

Steps

  1. 1

    Mix together the chicken, egg, cornflour, ginger and garlic paste, 2 tsp salt and 2 - tbsp water so that the chicken pieces are coated with the batter.

    Leave this about 1 - 2 hrs

  3. 3

    Heat oil in a pan and deep-fry the chicken pieces over high heat to begin with and then lower the flame. Fry until the chicken is cooked. Drain on absorbent paper.

    Heat 2 Tbsp of oil in a pan, add onions and stir-fry over high heat until colour changes to light brown

  5. 5

    Add the green chillies and capsicum and saute for a minute.

  6. 6

    Add salt, soy sauce, vinegar, and the deep-fried chicken, and mix it well.

  7. 7

    Serve hot, garnished with the green chillies.
