Ingredients

  1. 2medium Potatoes, peeled, cubed and shallow fry
  2. 1 bunchpalak, finely chopped
  3. 1/2 tspgrated Ginger
  4. 2Green Chillies, finely chopped
  5. 3 clovesGarlic, minced
  6. 1medium Onion, finely chopped
  7. 2medium tomatoes, grinded
  8. 1/4 tsphaldi
  9. 1/2 tspRed Chilli Powder
  10. 1 tbspoil
  11. 1/2 tspdhania powder
  12. 1/2 tspgaram masala
  13. to tasteSalt

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat oil in a pan over medium flame. Add garlic, green chilli and ginger. Sauté it

  2. 2

    Add chopped onion and sauté until it turns to light brown colour.

  3. 3

    Add haldi and red chilli powder, dhania powder, stir and mix well

  4. 4

    Add tomaoes and stir it until oil separates.

  5. 5

    Add chopped palak and salt to taste.

  6. 6

    Cook until palak becomes soft. Stir in between occasionally

  7. 7

    Now add cubed potatoes, garam masala and mix well.

  8. 8

    Cook covered on low flame for 4-5 minutes. Stir in between occasionally to prevent sticking and burning. Turn off the flame.

  9. 9

    Transfer dry aloo palak to a serving bowl and serve it hot with Roti.
