Steps

Melt butter with oil in heavy saucepan.

Add chopped onion & saute for 5 minutes.

Add chopped green & red pepper & diced celery, stir well and saute for another 5 minutes.

Add rice & stir to completely incorporate into the sautéed vegetables.

Add the diced tomatoes, chicken stock, wine & spices to taste. Stir until well mixed, cover and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent rice from sticking to the bottom.

Add chopped chicken, sliced sausage & shrimp, stir well and cook for an additional 10 minutes.
