In a pan, roast semolina till it gives out an aroma, taking care to see that it doesn’t get dark brown., After it is roasted, keep the semolina aside.

In little oil, crackle mustard, black lentils and red chilli..When mustard starts to splutter, add chopped,green chillies, chopped curry leaves and finely cut ginger.

When water starts boiling add the chopped vegetables and salt.When the vegetables get cooked, add semolina and give it a stir.

Give it another stir and when all the water evaporates, switch off flame.
Garnish with coriander leaves and enjoy the upma with chutney. - 5
