Ingredients

4 servings
  • 1 1/2medium carrots, grated 1¾ medium bunches spinach, finely chopped1/2cup capsicum finally chopped
  • 200 gramssemolina (suji) ½ teaspoon sugar 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 2 tablespoonsyogurt ½ cup coarsely ground sprouted moong ½ cup coarsely ground corn kernels
  • 1-2green chillies, finely chopped 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh coriander leaves
  • 1 teaspoonfruit salt Oil for cooking

Steps

  1. 1

    Combine semolina, sugar, salt, ginger-garlic paste, yogurt, moong, corn, green chillies, capsicum,chopped coriander, spinach and carrot in a bowl and mix well.

    Add some water and mix well and set aside for 1 hour.

    Add fruit salt and mix well.

  4. 4

    Heat some oil in an appam mould. Spoon the prepared mixture into the moulds and cook till evenly golden from both sides.

    Serve hot with coconut chutney.
