Ingredients

  1. 3-4medium size potetoes
  2. Sunflower oil
  3. Mustard seeds
  4. Cumin seeds
  5. Aaesofotida
  6. Turmeric powder
  7. Salt
  8. Green chilly paste
  9. 2-3green chilly chopped
  10. Sugar
  11. Lemon
  12. leavesCurry
  13. Cilantro
  14. Sev made of gram flour (to serve)

Steps

  1. 1

    Cut the potetoes into medium chunks and place it in a pressure cooker with salted water and turmeric powder.Bring it to a boil with 3 whistle and turn off the heat.Simmer until the potetoes arefork tender.

    Take a deep pan,add some oil sprinkle mustard seeds,cumin seeds,aaesofotida curry leaves,green chilly paste,chopped 2 - 3 green chillies to make the dish more spicy and than add those boiled potatoes chunks into the pan along with salted and turmeric powder water.Later on add sugar and lemon to make the dish sweet and sour.Cook it on medium heat for 5 minuets and than you are ready to serve with the gram flour sev and cilantro on the top of the dish.
