Steps

At first heat a pan add oil and fry the grinded daal along with jeera, dhaniya,red chilli Powder, ginger paste,asafoetida,sugar,salt and turmeric powder

Now grease a plate and spread this mixture well

Cut into diamond shape, deep fry and keep aside

Add ghee in the pan and temper the jeera,bay leaf and whole dry red chilli

Add asafoetida powder and ginger paste,saute well

Add tomato puree,salt turmeric amd red chilli Powder

Cover a while to cook it well

Now add jeera and dhaniya powder and combine well adding water.

Add sugar and the fried dhokala,allow it to boil

Finally add garam masala powder and switch off the flame

Garnish it with tomato and serve.
