Ingredients

  1. For vanilla portion:
  2. 125 gms flour
  3. 2-3 dropsVanilla essence
  4. 1/2 tspBaking powder
  5. 50 gmsButter
  6. 100 gmSugar powder
  7. 115 gmsFlour
  8. For Brown dough:
  9. 10 gmsCocoa
  10. 100 gmsSugar powder
  11. 1/2 tspBaking powder
  12. 50 gmsButter
  13. as neededMilk to bind

Steps

    This is for Vanilla portion: In a bowl cream together butter + sugar till fluffy.

  2. 2

    Add all dry ingredients, essence and knead to a crumbly dough.Add some flour if needed.

    Now make a roll and cover it with cling film and refrigerate for 15-20mins

  4. 4

    In a bowl take butter and sugar and beat until fluffy.

  5. 5

    Put rest ingredients one by one and knead to a dough.

  6. 6

    Add milk to make a pliable dough.Make a log and same like vanilla dough cover it with cling film and refrigerate 15-20mins.

  7. 7

    Take out from fridge and shape to a square log.Place on eachother and cut into 3 portions.

  8. 8

    Now with those place one stripe on eachother with opposite colour on eachother.Press a beat.

  9. 9

    Now repeat above procedure again.

  10. 10

    Now your square log is ready to be sliced !! Cut keeping distance and place on baking tray.

  11. 11

    Heat oven at 170C

  12. 12

    Put tray of cookies in oven and bake 15mins
