Ingredients

  1. 250 gramstinda
  2. 3Potatoes
  3. 1onion chopped
  4. 1 tablespoonginger garlic paste
  5. 1 teaspoonjeera powder
  6. 1 tablespoondhaniya powder
  7. 1 teaspoonred chilli Powder
  8. 1/2 cuptomato puree
  9. 1/2 teaspoongaram masala powder
  10. 1bay leaf
  11. 1 teaspoonwhole jeera
  12. To tastesalt and sugar
  13. As neededoil
  14. As neededwater

    Peel and cut tindas

  2. 2

    Peel Potatoes and cut into cubes

  3. 3

    Heat oil in a pan and fry the Potatoes adding salt and turmeric powder,kee aside.

  4. 4

    Now add oil and fry the tinda adding salt and turmeric,keep aside.

  5. 5

    In the same pan add oil and temper the bay leaf and jeera seeds

  6. 6

    Add Onions and saute till golden brown

  7. 7

    Add ginger garlic paste and saute till raw smell goes away

  8. 8

    Now add tomato puree,jeera dhaniya powder and red chilli Powder and mix well

  9. 9

    Add the fried veggies and mix well

  10. 10

    Add water according to your need and cover.

  11. 11

    Keep on a low heat

  12. 12

    Finally add garam masala powder and remove from the oven

  13. 13

    The curry is ready to be served
