First of all wash and soak all the dal and rice at night....in the morning grind that in coarsely do not use water for grinding if needed use curd which we have mentioned in the ingredients. Now keep it for fermentation for about 4 to 6 hours. After u get nice fermented batter add salt and turmeric powder, grated bottle guard, Ginger garlic and chilli paste, sugar coriander and lime juice to it and mix well.

Heat the oil in a frying pan,Add mustard seeds hing sesame seeds let them splutter....and add1 or 2 ladle full hanva batter to it spread it evenly. Cover it with lid and cook on very low flame.....timing will depend on how much batter you habe poured....let the one side cook completely....change the side using spatula pour some oil to the second side to be cooked.......

When both sides are golden brown....serve it with tomato ketchup or green chutney..........yummy crispy and very healthy pan handva is ready !!!!
