Preheat Oven to 180fan/400f/200c

Into a large bowl sieve your flour, sugar and baking powder

Add your eggs, butter and milk
- 4
Combine well (have a cheeky taste, even though it will b perfect)

Split mixture into two 20cm cake tins
- 6
Whack into oven for 20 mins

Once done turn onto a cooling rack

Now make your butter cream
- 9
Combine your butter, icing sugar and vanilla extract
- 10
Once your cake has cooled, spread jam on top layer and your buttercream on bottom layer and place together
- 11
Finish with a sprinkle of icing sugar for decorative purposes
