Ingredients

  • 500baby Potatoes boiled
  • 1-2tomatoes
  • 1capsicum cubed
  • 1 teaspoonjeera powder
  • 1 tablespoondhaniya powder
  • 1 teaspoonkashmiri mirch powder
  • 1 teaspoonturmeric powder
  • 1 ginger paste
  • 1 teaspoonjeera seeds
  • 1bay leaf
  • 1 pinchasafoetida
  • 1 teaspooncrushed kasuri methi
  • To tastesalt and sugar
  • As neededoil

Steps

    Peel the Potatoes

  2. 2

    Add oil,heat and temper the jeera seeds, asafoetida and bay leaf

  3. 3

    Add Potatoes saute adding salt and turmeric powder

  4. 4

    Add capsicum saute for a while

  5. 5

    Add ginger paste and fry

  6. 6

    Now add the powder masalas and mix well

  7. 7

    Add tomato saute well as and cover till it gets soft

  8. 8

    Finally add sugar and kasuri methi

  9. 9

    The aloo dum is ready to serve
