Ingredients

  1. 5fresh green bananas
  2. 1med onion chopped
  3. 1/2 tsp minced garlic
  4. 1deshi tomato chopped and
  5. 1 tbsp coriander leaves
  6. 2green chilli de-seeded and chopped
  7. 1/2 tsp jeera powder dissolved in water
  8. 1/4 tsp sugar
  9. 1/3 tsphaldi powder
  10. 1/3 tspjeera seeds
  11. 1 tbspcooked mustard paste (I have already mentioned)
  12. 1 tbspmustard oil Salt as required

Steps

  1. 1

    Wash the banana and pressure cook 2 whistles.

    Cool and cut both ends of bananas. Peel out skin.

    Grind skin in a mixer with little water.

    Heat oil in a pan. Add zeera, onion, garlic and chilli. Fry for 2 mins.

  5. 5

    Now add tomato, zeera paste, mustard paste, salt, sugar and haldi powder with 2 tbsp water. Cook till the water dried up.

    Add the banana paste from grinder and cook until a bit thickness.

  7. 7

    Green banana peels chutney is ready. Garnish with coriander leaves.
