Papaya halwa

Peel the papaya and cut into small pieces.

Boil milk for ten minutes on a low flame. Add jaggery powder and allow it to melt. Then add papaya pieces and cook it for ten minutes. Allow it to boil till it becomes little thick& add 1 or 2 tsp ghee & stir it well and off the gas stove.

Make a powder of cardamom and cloves and add this to halwa. Heat two tsp ghee and fry raisins and cashew nuts. Make pieces of almonds. Decorate papaya halwa with roasted cashew nuts and raisins and chopped almonds.

Serve hot or cold
