Ingredients

2 servings
  • 1 cupIdli batter
  • 1 inchGinger
  • 1 tablespoonurad dal
  • 1 tablespoonchanadal
  • 1/2 tablespoonmustard seed
  • 1/2 tablespoonjeera
  • 2 tablespoonspeanuts
  • 1 tablespoonkaju
  • 1 tablespooncurry leaves
  • 1 tablespoonchopped coriander leaves
  • 2 tablespoonssugar
  • Salt as per taste
  • Red chilli powder as per taste
  • 1 tablespoontamarind
  • 2 tablespoonsghee
  • 2-3chopped green chilli
  • 2dried red chilli
  • As neededWater

Steps

  1. 1

    Firstly take a idly pan and keep idly and cook for 10 min

    Heat the oil and add tamarind and fry

    Now add chopped ginger and fry for couple of minutes

    Add dried red chilli and fry them

    Add some salt and red chilli powder

    Now switch off the flame and add sugar

    Now add water and make fine paste

    Now again take a pan and add oil and mustard seeds and jeera

    And peanuts

    And chana Dallas, urad Dal,kaju,red chilli, green chilli curry leaves and add the paste and cook for two minutes
