Linguini with fresh Tomato Sauce (Makaronia Me Tomata Salsa) Linguini with fresh Tomato Sauce (Makaronia Me Tomata Salsa)
This recipe has been sitting in my draft box for a while now, but for some reason I really never got around to making it. Today, it’s very cold and at the moment it’s snowing and I don’t want to make soup, so I decided on this delicious pasta dish which will work just fine. New Year Eve seems to getting closer, and I still haven’t planned out the New Year Eve Menu not really sure what it is I want to make 😦 but one thing I do know for sure is we will be making the classic Greek Cake Vasilopita.During the holidays we tend to make too much food and this means too many leftovers. This year there was wayyy to much leftovers than previous years, the reason as you all know was due to the fact of the passing of our dog Marka, no one really had a appetite for eating big…:( Life must go on and so it will as the New Year approaches.I hope you enjoy this delicious pasta dish not to many ingredients and very quick to make. 🙂 Foodzesty -
Tomato Sauce Tomato Sauce
I learned this while I was abroad. This is an easy version that's light on the oil. It's a simple and delicious all-purpose sauce with no frills!Be sure not to burn the garlic when cooking it. You can make various versions by adding meat, vegetables, white sauce, sour cream, curry powder, etc. If you want to have a thicker sauce, you can add some katakuriko potato starch to adjust the thickness. Steamed Chicken with Tomato and Onion Sauce Steamed Chicken with Tomato and Onion Sauce
I made this because I had lots of tomatoes and sweet onions, but it was really tasty and the kids ate it happily. I love the dressing as it is so versatile and can be used in lots of different recipes. The dressing is flavoured strongly to go with the lightly flavoured chicken. This dressing not only goes well with steamed chicken, but fish and raw vegetables too! Meatballs with Tomato Vegetable Sauce Meatballs with Tomato Vegetable Sauce
Pretty nice meatballs; leftovers can be frozen; use salt reduced paste and stock, and do not add extra salt to the sauce, or else it might be a bit too salty. (Pic has capsicum instead of celery, this recipe is great for substituting veggies) Saffie La Rue -

Ginger Pork and Firm Tofu with Oyster Sauce Ginger Pork and Firm Tofu with Oyster Sauce
Today the gentleman known as my husband didn't need dinner, so I had dinner alone. So I thought I'd make dinner with whatever's in the house. This is the result of what I thought of with limited ingredients.Adjust the cooking time of pork depending on the thickness of the slices. I made it with thinly sliced shoulder roast. It will taste much batter if you fry the meat until it becomes crispy. It had been a while since I'd made such a satisfying meal just for me. Pork, tofu, and ginger are ingredients that fight summer fatigue! Recipe by Mahoizokunosonchou cookpad.japan -

Easy Meat Sauce Easy Meat Sauce
I tried making this with what I had in my kitchen, and it turned out really nice. You can also pour this sauce on rice, top it with cheese and heat it in the microwave. It's nice with other kinds of mushrooms or bell peppers. It's a really basic point, but boil the pasta in salted water.
