Heat oil and temper cumin seed bay leaf and red chilli whole

As they crackle add chopped coconut and fry well till they turn golden brown

Now add ginger paste and saute

Add cumin coriander powder,saute well adding salt and turmeric powder

Add desiccated Coconut and green chillies chopped

Now add the boiled daal and mix well

Add sugar and garam masala powder

Boil it and serve with puri(luchi)
