Mix the chickpea flour, all-purpose flour (about 5 tablespoons each), and a pinch of turmeric together.

Add salt, then gradually pour in ice-cold water while mixing. Stir in the chopped parsley and finely chopped green onion, and keep mixing.

Finally, add the small shrimp and mix gently.

Heat plenty of olive oil in a skillet. When the oil is very hot, drop in small portions of the batter using a ladle or spoon. Fry until golden and crispy.
