Ingredients

23-25minutes
18 servings
  1. 250 gflour
  2. 175 gsugar
  3. 175 gmargarine
  4. 4medium eggs
  5. 1 tspbaking powder
  6. 1 tbspvanilla1
  7. 15 gcocoa powder
  8. 1/2 tsporange oil flavour
  9. 1 tspstrawberry flavour
  10. Red food color

Steps

23-25minutes
  1. 1

    Preheat oven at 180 degrees

  2. 2

    Cream together the sugar and margarine until light and fluffy.it should be off white

  3. 3

    Reduce the speed and add the eggs one by one until well incorporated.switch off the mixer then add the flavourings.

  4. 4

    Then add the color to the mixture to the desired color of deep red.avoid not to use too much color to the cake coz it will offset the taste balance of the cake.

  5. 5

    Add Sifted flour,baking powder and cocoa and mix with a wooden spoon. I tend to use a woo den spoon on this last method rather than the machine so as not to over mix the eggs and also the cake not to have much air spaces.

  6. 6

    Ones everything is mixed spoon the mixture into the prepared cupcake baking tray lined with the cupcake cases.

  7. 7

    Bake for 23-25 minutes.remove from oven and let them cool before decorating.

  8. 8

    Whip some whipping cream and pipe so nice rosette design to the cupcakes.

  9. 9

    Enjoy.
