Soak masoor daal in water for 30 mins. to make pakodas. After 30 mins grind it roughly without water.

Now add baking powder, salt, curry leaves, turmeric powder and mix them all. Now heat oil in a pan and pakodas with this better.

Boil the second cup of masoor daal for making curry. After boiling daal add curd in it and blend the both to make smooth paste.

Now take same oil we used for frying pakodas. Heat oil and put methi dana, red chillies, curry leaves, mustard seeds, jeera and crushed dhaniya seeds in it and saute for few seconds. Now add onions and fry till they change it's colour to light brown. Now add salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and saute for few seconds then add tomatoes and saute for 1 min. Now add curd and masoor daal mixture to it and boil for 2 mins.

After 2 mins add pakodas to curry mixture and cook it for another 2 mins. After cooking it for 2 mins switch off your gas and garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
