Green Chili Prawns

Although green chili peppers are actually red chili peppers which are harvested when they are still green, but each of them has their own unique flavors when they are cooked. Both are used a lot in Indonesian cuisine and I love ❤️ them both 😋 IG @jenscookingdiary @jenscookdineandtravel

Savoury Prawns Coated in Chili Sauce Savoury Prawns Coated in Chili Sauce
Plain shrimp are good, but at our house, we always serve them coated in this delicious chili sauce. We love coated shrimp. There should be 400 g of shrimp after they have been peeled and deveined. Shrimp become tough and rubbery when overcooked, so please be careful when cooking them. Remove them from the pan once they have changed colour. Because the shrimp are coated in starch, you don't have to add starch dissolved in water to the chili sauce. Recipe by Necchan cookpad.japan -

Green Chili Sauce Green Chili Sauce
After making chicken enchiladas with green sauce, using a canned sauce, I decided to try and make my own homemade green chili sauce. Looked at a bunch of recipes and combined them to make this one. It came out great and is much better than the canned sauce. Note: I tried using red Fresno peppers but after roasting the skins got tough and I could not remove so I threw them out. fenway -
Broccoli and Prawn Red Chili Salad Broccoli and Prawn Red Chili Salad
I bought a tasty broccoli and prawn red chili salad at the department and wanted to recreate it. The simple salt taste brings out the umami from the prawns. Using Krazy Salt (seasoned salt) will give it a more authentic taste.I also recommend adding boiled snap peas!Add a generous amount of olive oil (3 or more tablespoons).Heat the garlic slowly over low heat so the aroma carries to the oil. Don't burn it!You can use chili peppers or ichimi togarashi (Japanese red chilli pepper) instead of red pepper.Toss an hour or so before eating to allow the flavours to blend.Add frozen seafood mix for more extravagance! This is the Ultimate Chili Shrimp This is the Ultimate Chili Shrimp
My boyfriend was taught this recipe by a friend and I adjusted it a bit.Even I was suprised when I first made this recipe! The shrimp is already coated in katakuriko potato starch, so when you add the shrimp you definitely should not stir them. If you stir them, the sauce will harden before they are cooked through, making them more difficult to cook. Cooking over medium heat is also an important point! Please adjust the amount of doubanjiang spicy bean paste for spiciness. For 3-4 servings. Recipe by Tankoro cookpad.japan
