Ingredients

2hrs.
3pax
  1. 4 cupsself raising flour
  2. 2tblspoon yeast
  3. 2 teaspoonsugar
  4. 1/2 teaspoonsalt
  5. 200 gramsmargarine/cooking oil
  6. 2 cupswater

Steps

2hrs.
  1. 1

    Mix the flour, yeast, sugar and salt into a bowl.

  2. 2

    Add water as you kneed until soft for 5-10mins.

  3. 3

    Dust a bowl and let it sit for 45mins to activate the yeast until it doubles in size.

  4. 4

    Knock back the dough and roll them in circles. You can beat with the palm of your hand to flatten it a bit.

  5. 5

    Oil your baking pan as you place your prepared buns.

  6. 6

    Let it sit for 1hr so that it can double in size again.

    Pre-heat your oven to 175 degrees C.

    Apply melted margarine/oil or butter. *First time i used egg wash but it came out hard. Try and see if it will work*

  9. 9

    Bake for 20-25mins.

  10. 10

    Set aside to cool and serve with a hot beverage.

    Note: Can be used for burgers and hotdogs too.
